When asked why Evil wanted a Pure for their first softball bat, Founder Bob Russell had this to say, "We teamed up with Pure sports due to their advanced composite engineering and development process. I knew that our expertise in Ball design would complement Pure's engineering processes. What we were able to produce turned out to be the best performing ASA bat that passes associated testing."

This bat is built for the rec players in mind.  We want to help you raise your average and gain more distance without having to be perfect with every swing. Evil Sports owner Bob Russell worked closely with Pure engineers on the mechanics of the PAD to produce a bat that swings effortlessly and produces superior exit velocity and distance whether the player has a lower or higher swing speed. The PAD technology allows higher swing speeds and the ability to compress the barrel without damaging the barrel. This yields insane results. Evil waited 20 years to find the right design and engineers to work with and finally found it with Pure.

Warranty Type

Select the type of coverage you'd like on your bat. All bats automatically come with a warranty to cover defects but you can add on accidental damage protection to cover broken barrels.

Accidental Damage Protection covers the physical damage that the standard lifetime warranty does not cover. It provides protection against accidental damage to your PURE product that occurs during the year after purchase. Accidental damage refers to accidental physical breakage or failure of your covered equipment due to an unforeseen and unintentional event that causes physical damage to the covered bat and which affects its functionality, such as if you accidentally break your barrel. Accidental Damage Protection can help you avoid out-of-pocket repair or replacement costs caused by these unexpected events. Should your bat be subject to an event that is covered under Accidental Damage Protection, your covered bat will either be repaired or replaced with a PURE product of at least equivalent functionality at no extra charge, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions described in full in the Accidental Damage Protection policy document. Accidental Damage Protection does not cover events including, but not limited to, theft, loss, damage caused by fire, a vehicle accident or act of nature, normal wear, consumables, or abuse and misuse. Please see the Accidental Damage Protection policy for full details of exclusions to the policy coverage.* This is a transferrable service that will stay with the bat if it is sold to a new owner. This product protection only covers one replacement of the bat. Repairs are typically covered by the Standard warranty and do not count as a replacement.

DETAILS

The Pure Evil is a 2 Piece fully composite bat with a 13″ X-22 barrel. This bat is available in 25oz, 26oz, and 27oz. They are offered in either balanced endload or a pure evil endload.  The Evil endload is 0.6oz, slightly heavier than the Pure Hellfire endload but not quite as heavy as a Skybolt.

*All Evil Bats will include a free 6 month premium warranty and limited lifetime warranty.

X-22 Barrel

For our ASA bats we had to create a brand-new barrel from scratch. This barrel (named X-22) Features a new type of composite that is extremely durable while still being thin. The thin barrel allows the transfer of power from the player to the ball to be as efficient as possible.

Internal PAD

Each of these bats features an internal PAD (Power Amplification Device) which will greatly increase the amount of force applied to the ball. The PAD is made with the same technology as the original integrity barrel. When the bat hits the ball the barrel will compress and allow the PAD to amplify the force of the swing. This causes a faster rebound, allowing for hits to go much further than a traditional bat. The PAD also helps to keep your performance at it’s peak longer.

We have harmonically optimized the PAD for a truly Evil Optimized performance.

Premium Protection

At Pure, we are Made 4 The People.  This bat will include a 6 month Premium Barrel Protection Warranty. We stand behind our bat’s durability, but still want to give our customers an added layer of protection!

    I purchased this bat off the website and received it in a timely manner.I like the bat so far but have to put more swings on it,that’s the reason for the 4 stars.My first bat from Pure,it won’t be my last.

    Bought this to as a replacement to a recently broken Monsta M5 and after the first 100-150 swings I’d say it’s very comparable. The other bat in my bag is a Monsta M2 one-piece and I would say after the first session of BP with the Pure it’s very competitive. I wouldn’t say it rivals the M2 but it’s competitive, definitely much more forgiving than a one-piece M2. I’d definitely suggest the Hellfire/Evil platform to someone.
